Quick And Easy Guacamole Recipe

  • Buy locally grown organic ingredients, if possible

    • 2 medium ripe avocados (slightly soft to the touch)

    • 1/4 red onion, chopped

    • 1/2 cup fresh cilantro, chopped

    • 1-2 dried red chilies (optional)

    • 1 tablespoon lime juice, more as needed

    • 1/2 tsp roasted cumin powder

    • Rock salt (saindhav salt) to taste

  • Avocados are rich in healthy fats and can be beneficial for balancing Vata dosha.

  • Avocados are cooling in nature, so individuals with a predominantly Kapha constitution should consume them in moderation to avoid excess cooling effects.

Recipe Serves 3-4

Directions:

  1. Slice avocados in half, scoop out the inside into a mixing bowl. Keep the seed aside and roughly mash the avocados using a fork.

  2. Fold in the finely chopped onion, cilantro, and chilies. Add fresh lime juice, salt and cumin powder to taste. Stir gently to mix all the ingredients and enjoy.
